You're half way through this program!! I am so proud of YOU! You've already come so far and today is all about celebrating your beautiful body and showing it love. Today we will be stretching those hard working muscles and really tuning into our bodies to notice the subtle mental and physical changes we are experiencing at this stage in the challenge.
Making sure to take time to de-stress is SO important for a number of reasons. One reason that is specific to this program is the fact that stress raises cortisol which can cause our bodies to hold on to belly fat. Your body needs to feel safe to let go of weight, which is why fueling it properly, taking time for self-care and showing it love are so important.
We also add in some lymphatic drainage massage to help with draining any fluid in the stomach, detoxing and de-bloating. I would recommend pausing the video and grabbing some oil *don't get it on your activewear!!* to gently massage your stomach. This is such a beneficial holistic treatment that will leave you feeling blissed out and energetically lighter.
